My name is Justin. I’m a founder of Despair, Inc., an Internet publisher. Back in 1998, we introduced Demotivators®, a satirical brand that unwittingly became a massive, early meme.

I’m also working on a novel, Thorazine Seasons, very loosely based on my half-year psychiatric hospital experience in 1980s Texas. This website is mostly to promote that effort.
